RUTHIE HUDSON
I have a BA degree in Fine Art, History of Art and English Literature from Newcastle University, I have also studied Art at the Chelsea School of Art and printmaking at the Leicester Print Workshop.

My work is inspired by my previous work in fashion and interior magaizne production, life as a mother and living in a fast paced digital world.
The Press
I print my work on an old cast iron lithograph press which dates from 1856.
It is a beautiful piece of machinery but can be quite frustrating at times. However, I enjoy the lack of identikit perfection, making each print unique and clearly handmade.
